Petting Farm Safety: Protecting Our Animals from Harm

I never thought id have to make a post about this but here goes. I just had to get after a couple of kids (old enough to know better) for throwing rocks at our steers in the petting farm. This behavior will absolutely not be tolerated, this is considered a form of animal abuse. So from now on, Kids are not allowed to be unattended at the petting farm anymore. An adult must be with them at all times and if we catch someone throwing stuff at them again, a police report will be made and we will take our animals away from the petting farm so no one can hurt them.

Our animals are there to be loved on, not to have rocks thrown at them!! I unfortunately did not have time to go in the store to tell the mom (I was driving out to pick my kids up from school) but if this was you in a dark grey or black newer dodge Durango, was at our store around 11:10 today and had 2 boys, please have a serious discussion with them about how wrong this is.
