What products do you sell?
We offer farm-raised beef, pork, chicken, turkey, and eggs, along with milk from a local dairy that follows farming practices similar to ours. Our store also carries locally sourced honey and maple syrup, beef-tallow products, garden seeds, fertilizers, and Sawmill Creek Farms merchandise. Product selection can change throughout the year, so check our online store or contact us for current availability.
How are your animals raised and fed?
Our animals are raised right here on our family farm. They are fed a non-GMO grain diet made with crops grown on the farm. We believe knowing how your food was raised matters, and we work hard to provide quality meat that families can feel good about putting on the table.
Is all of your meat raised on your farm?
Our beef, pork, chicken, and seasonal turkeys are raised by our family on the farm. We are a working crop and livestock farm, raising both the animals and many of the crops used to feed them.
Can I buy individual cuts, or do I need to purchase a large quantity?
You do not have to buy a whole or half animal to shop with us. We sell beef and pork by the pound, along with convenient bundles for customers who want to stock their freezer. Chicken is also available in a variety of whole and individual-cut options.
What chicken products do you offer?
Depending on availability, we offer whole chickens, feet, organs, thighs, legs, wings, and boneless, skinless breasts. Because we are a working farm and not a large grocery warehouse, some products may sell out or only be available at certain times.
When are your farm-raised turkeys available?
Our turkeys are generally available around Thanksgiving. We offer whole turkeys by the pound, along with items such as giblets, and turkey legs when available. We recommend checking with us early, because seasonal quantities may be limited.
Where do your eggs and dairy products come from?
Our non-GMO eggs come from chickens raised here on the farm. The milk sold in our store comes from a local dairy in Romeo that uses farming practices similar to ours. This allows us to offer more locally produced food while supporting another nearby farm.
Do you offer bundles or specials?
Yes. We offer meat bundles as well as regular specials on different products. Bundles are a convenient way to fill your freezer, and our specials are a good opportunity to get a great value on quality farm products. Availability and offers may change, so visit the online store or sign up for our newsletter for updates.
Can I order products online?
Yes. You can browse our online store to see available products and current specials. Because inventory depends on what is ready and in stock on the farm, the online selection may change throughout the year.
