From One Calf to an Award-Winning Farm Store

I am a very nostalgic person, and for some reason today has me thinking how far we have come over the years. It all started back in 2015 when I wanted to get back into having cattle again so we bought 1 Holstein calf to raise for us to have our own beef, then got a few more. When we bought our farm in 2013, it was a vegetable farm back in its day and had a store on site. In 2016 when we took our first steers in for processing we sold to family and friends, but it exploded from there. We added pigs to raise in 2018.

We officially opened up our store in 2019, in 2020 covid hit, we exploded again, then added chickens and turkeys to the mix. In 2023, we won best beef in America out in the state of Wyoming, remodeled and expanded our store, earned a tribute from the state of Michigan. I am so proud to say that everything that has happened to us over the years was due to our hard work, our great tasting meat, and our wonderful customers. No one else can take credit for that. Good old word of mouth has gotten us to where we are, and so proud to say that we don’t even have to advertise at all to continue to grow. In fact we dont dare advertise because the demand for our meat is so high. We appreciate every single customer that comes into our store!
